Please read these before you start. These terms are written to be clear and easy to read. They cover your place on the Everyday Founders programme: what we'll do, what we ask of you, and what happens if things change. If anything is unclear, email us before you agree.
Between:
- Stay Nimble Limited, company number 11129024, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU ("Stay Nimble", "we")
- You, the Everyday Founder named on your Everyday account ("you")
Start date: the date you agree these terms when you first sign in to Everyday.
1. What the programme is
The Everyday Founders programme runs for 26 weeks. It supports you from a problem you care about to a registered company, a working software product and first revenue. You make the decisions about your own company, with Claude as a building partner and people around you to support you.
It isn't a course with a pass mark, and nothing on Everyday judges the quality of your idea. What we ask for is your commitment and your work.
Everyday is run by Stay Nimble. CoEngineers is our learning and build partner. Everyday is supported by Accenture.
2. Who can take part
To take part, you must:
- Be aged 18 to 30
- Live in the UK
- Be legally allowed to be a company director
- Be able to verify your identity with Companies House, which needs a passport or a UK photo driving licence
We don't check your ID ourselves. Companies House does, when you register your company.
If the rules change. We may change who can take part at any time. A change applies to new applications. If you already have a place, you keep it.
One place per person. You take part as yourself, and you can't pass your place to anyone else.
If you claim benefits. If you claim Universal Credit or another income-related benefit, speak to your work coach. Starting a company can change what you're entitled to.
3. Who does what
What we'll do
We'll:
- Give you Nim, Stay Nimble's guide, which takes you through the decisions in your first week and supports you throughout
- Give you a place in your cohort's community on Everyday, moderated by our staff
- Run group sessions with Everyday Mentors at the points in the programme where business judgement helps most
- Provide your Claude access once your company is registered (see Schedule 1)
- Give you the CoEngineers course and the founder CRMonce your company is registered. You keep the CRM after the programme. We'll show you how to do this
- Give you starting templates for the documents your company needs before it starts selling: terms of sale, a refund policy and a privacy notice
- Offer a route into funded one-to-one career coachingif, at any point, you decide founding isn't your path. Coaching places are limited
- Tell you plainly what we can and can't see of your work (see section 7)
What you'll do
You'll:
- Give it the time. Around 6 to 10 hours most weeks, at a pace you set. Week 1 and the build weeks ask for more. Around 8 hours across the whole programme are at fixed times, and they're there for your benefit. We ask you to attend those live sessions, but you don't have to
- Show your work. Post in your cohort's community each week about where you are. It doesn't have to be finished or impressive
- Keep to the member code of conduct. It's short, and it's how we keep the community a good place to work
- Tell us if something changes. If you need to step back, or you're struggling, tell us. We'd much rather know
Registering your company
Registering your company is the first milestone. Once Companies House shows your company registered with you as a director, your Claude access, the course and the CRM will open.
There's no deadline that punishes you for taking longer. If you decide not to register a company, that's a real decision and a respectable one, and we'll talk with you about what comes next, including the coaching route.
4. Money
The programme is free. There's no fee for taking part.
Your company's costs are yours. Registering your company costs £14.99 in week 1, which you pay yourself. After that, your company has its own running costs. We'll show you those costs honestly before you need to pay them. Any costs you incur in running your company are solely your responsibility.
Your Claude access is paid for on your behalf for the period in Schedule 1. You don't pay for it during that time.
5. Who owns what
Your work is yours. Your company, its name, your product and its code, your content, your notes, your vault and your portfolio all belong to you. We take no shares in your company and no rights in anything you make. Neither does CoEngineers, and neither does any mentor.
Your company's decisions are yours. You're the director of your company, so the responsibilities are yours too. That includes your legal duties as a director, your company's tax, accounts and filings, its contracts and its debts. We aren't a director, shareholder or partner in your company, and nothing we do on the programme makes us one.
The templates are a starting point. You're responsible for adapting them to your business and for what you publish. They aren't advice, and we aren't lawyers or accountants. Where you need professional advice, use a qualified professional.
What we bring stays ours. Stay Nimble owns the Everyday name, brand, platform, Nim and the programme design. CoEngineers owns its course material. You can use them for your programme, but not copy or reuse them elsewhere.
6. Tools from other organisations
Some of the tools you'll use belong to other organisations. Each has its own terms, which you agree with them directly:
- Claude is made by Anthropic. You use it under Anthropic's terms and usage policies
- The course and the founder CRM are provided by CoEngineers, under their terms and usage policies
- Registering your company is through Companies House, using a formation service. We'll show you how
We aren't responsible for these services themselves. If one of them stops working for you in a way that affects the programme, tell us and we'll help.
7. Your information
The privacy notice. We use your personal information as set out in the privacy notice. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights.
What we can and can't see. We administer the Claude workspace, but we only look at usage across the cohort, such as how much the tools are used and which skills are adopted. We don't look at the content of your work. Your private work, your conversations with Nim and your Claude workspace aren't seen by your cohort or by mentors. Your posts in the community are seen by your cohort, our staff and Everyday Mentors.
Sessions are recorded. Every mentor session is recorded. Recordings can be watched only by your cohort and our staff, and we delete them 12 months after your cohort ends. You can keep your camera off and use the chat instead of speaking.
Your story is yours to share. We'll never use your name, your company or your words in a case study or publicity without asking you separately first. You can say no, and you can change your mind.
Other people's ideas. Keep what other members share in the programme within the programme, as the code of conduct sets out.
8. Advice, Nim and Claude
They can help you think, but they can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
None of it is regulated advice. Nim, Claude and our mentors don't give legal, tax, financial, investment or immigration advice. If you need that, we'll point you to someone qualified.
9. If things change
If the programme changes. We may change how the programme runs, including session dates and the tools we use. If a change affects you materially, we'll tell you in advance and explain why.
If you need to step back. Tell us. Moving to a later cohort is something we may offer, but we can't promise it. Ask us and we'll look at it with you.
If the programme has to end or change significantly. For example, if its funding changes. We'll tell you as early as we can, and help you keep your work and your company going.
Changing these terms. If we need to change them, we'll tell you what's changed and why, and ask you to agree the new version when you next sign in. If you don't agree, you can leave as set out in section 10.
10. How long it lasts and how to end it
Length. These terms start when you agree them and last until your cohort finishes. Sections 5, 7 and 11 still apply after that.
Leaving by choice. You can leave at any time. Tell us, and we'll talk with you about what comes next, including the coaching route.
When we may end your place. We may end your place if:
- Something in your application wasn't true, or you aren't eligible
- You abuse the programme, our staff, mentors or other members
- You break the code of conduct seriously or repeatedly
Before we do, a named person from our team will contact you, tell you why, and hear what you have to say, unless someone's safety makes that impossible. We'll record the reason.
Coming back. If you've left, or your place was ended, we may offer you a place on a later cohort, but we can't promise it.
What happens when your place ends:
- You keep your sign-in to Everyday, and you can download everything you made there
- You keep your place in the community, unless you ask to leave it or your place was ended for abusing it
- You keep your company, your product, your vault and your CRM
- Your Claude access ends, with 14 days' notice first so you can save your work
- Your course access runs until your cohort finishes
11. Other important terms
Our responsibility to you. We'll run the programme with reasonable care and skill. We don't limit liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Because the programme is free and your company's decisions are yours, we aren't responsible for your company's commercial results or losses.
Complaints. If something has gone wrong, tell us using the contacts in Schedule 2. We'll reply within 10 working days, and a named person will own it until it's resolved.
If something unexpected happens. We aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control.
Notices. We'll contact you at the email address on your Everyday account. You can contact us using Schedule 2. Email is fine.
Which laws apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. We'll try to settle any disagreement by talking first.
If part of this is invalid. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies.
