What this covers. This notice explains how Stay Nimble uses your personal information when you apply for the Everyday Founders programme and when you take part as an Everyday Founder. It sits alongside Stay Nimble's main privacy policy, which covers our other services. Where the two differ, this notice applies to Everyday.
Our promises.
- We only collect what we need to run the programme and support you.
- We never sell your information.
- Your work is yours. We don't read your Claude workspace.
- Your information from Everyday is kept apart from Stay Nimble's coaching service. Nothing moves between them unless you ask for it.
1. Who we are
Everyday is run by Stay Nimble Limited, company number 11129024, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the data controller. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, number ZB116675.
Our data protection contact is Dominic Atkinson, everyday@staynimble.co.uk.
2. What we collect
When you apply:
- your name and email address
- your age band and where you live, to check you're eligible
- your answers about the problem you care about and why now is the right time
- whether you'd like us to keep you posted
- which link or campaign brought you to us, if any
- your readiness check result, if you applied from the check on our website
When you take part:
- your sign-in details and the name you'd like us to use
- your progress through the programme, the tasks you've done and the work you link to, such as your product's web address
- your conversations with Nim, the Stay Nimble guide, and what you decide together
- your company's name and number once it's registered, and what Companies House's public register says about it
- a short line about what you're building, if you choose to write one, which your cohort can see
- what you post in the community
- recordings of the mentor sessions you join
- the sessions you sign up for, and anything you tell us you need to take part, such as captions or extra breaks
What we don't collect. We don't ask about your health, ethnicity, religion, sexuality or benefits. We don't check your ID: Companies House does that when you register your company. If you tell Nim or us something sensitive about yourself or someone else, we use it only to support you and keep people safe. The one exception is your choice: when you sign up for a session you can tell us what you need to take part, and that may say something about your health.
3. How we use it
- To decide whether you can take part. We check your age band and where you live against the eligibility rules, and a member of our team reads every application to check it's genuine before we confirm a place.
- To run the programme. Setting up your account, giving you access to tools as you reach each stage, sending you emails about the programme, and showing you your progress.
- To run sessions. When you sign up we email you the invite and a reminder. Anything you tell us you need is seen by our staff and, for a mentor session, by its mentor, without your name, so the session works for everyone.
- To share session recordings. Every mentor session is recorded. Only founders in that session's cohort, the mentor who led it and our staff can watch the recording, and we delete it 12 months after your cohort ends.
- To help Nim help you. Nim uses your first name, your cohort, where you are in the programme and what you told us when you applied, so you don't have to repeat yourself. We don't send Nim your email address.
- To check your company is registered. We look up the company number you give us on Companies House's public register.
- To keep people safe. If something you share suggests you or someone else may be at risk, our staff will act on it.
- To make the programme better. Our staff read a small sample of conversations with Nim to check it's giving good support. Every time a member of staff opens a conversation, it's logged.
- To prevent fraud. We use application answers to spot duplicate or false applications.
- To report to the organisations that support the programme. See section 6.
- To keep you posted, if you ticked the box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Our lawful bases
The law requires us to have a reason, called a lawful basis, for each use:
- Contract: to consider your application and run the programme you've signed up to.
- Legitimate interests: to check eligibility, prevent fraud, keep people safe, check the quality of Nim's support and report to the organisations that support the programme. We've weighed these against your interests, and you can object (see section 9).
- Consent: for updates by email, analytics cookies and using your story in publicity, and anything you tell us you need for a session (this is your explicit consent, which the law requires for health information). You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: for records we're required by law to keep.
5. Automated decisions
When you apply, your age band and where you live are checked against the eligibility rules automatically. A member of our team then reads every application before we confirm a place. If you think we've got it wrong, email us and a person will look at it again.
Nothing else about your place is decided automatically. Nim doesn't decide whether you stay on the programme.
6. Who we share it with
Organisations that support the programme. Everyday is supported by Accenture. We give them numbers about the programme, such as how many people took part and how many companies were registered, and the public company numbers of registered companies. We don't give them your name or contact details unless you agree.
Everyday Mentors. Mentors who run sessions for your cohort can see your name, your company's name once it's registered, your launch post and your product's web address, so they can prepare for your sessions.
If you choose coaching. If you decide founding isn't right for you and take up a coaching place, we pass on only what you agree to.
Case studies and publicity. We'll never use your name, your company or your words without asking you separately first.
The services we use. These companies process information for us, under contract, and only as we instruct:
| Service | What for |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Storing your account, progress and recordings |
| Vercel | Running the Everyday website |
| Tally | The application form |
| Zapier | Passing application details between our systems |
| GetResponse | Programme emails and updates |

| Anthropic | Your Claude account for the programme |
| CoEngineers | The course and the founder CRM |
| Google Analytics | Understanding how the website is used, only if you accept cookies |

The public register. When you register your company, the details you give Companies House are public. That's a legal requirement, not something we control.
We'll share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious harm.
7. Where it's stored
Most of your information is stored in the UK or the European Economic Area. Some of the services we use are based in the United States. Where your information goes outside the UK, it's protected by the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep it
- If you apply and don't get a place: 12 months from our decision, then we delete it. We keep only numbers that don't identify you.
- If you take part: 6 years after your cohort ends, because we have to be able to show the programme's results. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
- Session recordings: 12 months after your cohort ends.
- What you tell us you need for a session: deleted 30 days after the session.
- Email updates: until you unsubscribe.
If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless we need to keep something by law.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- ask us to limit how we use it
- object to how we use it
- ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it
To use any of these, email everyday@staynimble.co.uk. We'll reply within a month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We only use analytics cookies if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time from the link at the bottom of the page. We don't use advertising cookies. Our company name builder counts how many names people reveal, copy and share, anonymously and without cookies. It doesn't keep your answers. 11. Age
The programme is for people aged 18 to 30. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Keeping it safe
Access to your information is limited to the staff who need it to run the programme. Our systems are protected with encryption and access controls, and we check the services we use meet the same standard.
13. Changes to this notice
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
